The Texas Gulf Coast Council of Diving Clubs (TGCC) is a 501c4 non-profit organization of diving clubs. TGCC member clubs participate in shared activities, learning events, and recreational activities in an effort to promote club participation among new and experienced divers in scuba diving. TGCC also was a sponsor of TrashFest, an aquatic clean-up project.
For over 50 years TGCC has:
- Defended and advanced the legal rights and privileges of our dive community.
- Promoted communication and coordination in the dive community.
- Promoted further education for members of the dive community.
- Promoted the safe recreational sport of scuba diving.
- Provided recognition for outstanding contributors of the dive community.

TGCC Memorial Scholarship Program
Each year, TGCC awards one or more college scholarships to TGCC club members, their children, or grandchildren. The application form can be found on the Forms page and the application deadline is June 30, 2024.
The scholarships are awarded in memory of former members of our dive community. This year we are especially grateful for donations to the program by Rodney (PeeWee) Dwire (Lunarfins, HUPS) and Russell Ramsey (HUPS) in memory of his wife Cynthia Ann Ramsey.
